I used this Southern Belle costume to wear for Halloween! I absolutely loved wearing it and I received many great compliments on it. I didn't realize that there was a hoop in the bottom of the dress until I got it in the mail and that made the costume really stand out. It was a unique and original costume idea and it was a lot of fun to wear. I also wore a blond curly wig, long white gloves and carried around a children's umbrella to use as a parasol. It was really funny! I definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to wear a funny, but cute costume!

I bought this costume for a living history tour at a museum. I am the tour guide and we can play different characters each year. I was hoping to play a Southern Belle, but this costume had two major issues: 1) it was made of very cheap, see through material, and 2) it did not fit at all. I was very disappointed to say the least.

I purchased this item for my teenage daughter in a small/medium adult. My daughter fits in a small womens size. I expected the dress to be floor length. The dress goes just below the knees of my 5'7'' daughter. The hat was very cheaply done also. Anyway. I got this for her to enter a costume contest and well just to have fun. Not sure what to do now with a week before halloween. Im gonna have to add to the bottom hem I guess. I should have spent the extra 150 dollars and got the more authentic looking scarlett barbeque dress. GRRR.

Just bought today and will be wearing it for halloween. It's so comfortable! A bit see through but thats easily taken care of.
