We could have done without the makeup kit, but it was nice to have shades matching the costume and did make application of make-up go faster. They don't put a lot of eye/face make-up in the kit, though. Enough for two applications, maybe 3 if you're careful. Plenty of black eyeliner and lipstick however. And it all washes off fairly easily with a wipe.
