I have a lot of inflatables, and this one takes a full 15 minutes to inflate. The fan is located on the leg, and if it is bent under the decoration it will take even longer. It looks best during daylight hours because there are only 2 lights inside, and they shine a bluish-white color, which leaves the decoration very dark looking at night. Could have been better considering the cost.

Actually we purchased the inflatable as a gift for my son's birthday. he is a dyed in the wool Ghostbusters fan since, well forever. he plays in a band and intends to use it as a prop. I on the otherhand am a 365 day of the year halloween fanatic. my theme for next year will revolve around the Ghostbusters. Any chance of an inflatable Ghostbuster ecto1 car?

The product is great except it had a giant, burned in workboot footprint on the chest that won't come off. I have to lean it against a wall to keep it standing because the tie downs don't really do anything and I'm afraid they'll rip a hole in him.

Used this in our front yard. The stakes it comes with are garbage so you'll need to plan on getting new ones. The wind picked up the first evening (not very much) and within 10 minutes the loops on the sides where the tie-downs attach were ripped out leaving holes. Make sure you have a needle and thread handy, you'll need it.

I'm Halloween hardcore & I use a lot of inflatables & props in my yard that stay up for 30-50 days. (Expensive animatronics only get put outside on Halloween to avoid theft.) This Stay Puft likeness is excellent - and - would've been ideal, but the motor is extremely weak so it does not stay inflated well. Very light rain will deflate it, as well as almost anything getting near the motor air intake (ie. leaf, few blades of grass). Probably better used indoors but at 8.5ft, it's more likely to be used outside. Had to add anchors and reinforce with sewing as also not resistant at all to wind. Looks great - if it had a better inflating motor, it'd be 5 stars. I'd still recommend to someone for indoor use as this would likely alleviate the problems from having such a weak motor. I have other inflatables that were 1/4 the price of this that have great motors that have lasted being outdoors and on for over a month every year since 2005. I'm keeping this since I'm nostalgic and love the idea, but it's a real shame the motor was so poorly made. My other inflatables work great and only require light bulb replacements.

This inflatable is really cool and very accurate to detail per the movie. It looks just like the picture and we are happy with it except that it is SUPER slow to inflate as the fan is way too small for this unit and is positioned in a bad spot on the unit. When deflated, the unit collapses on itself and covers the fan so that it won't work unless you hold it in place when inflating. The fan is way too small for the unit and takes about 3-5 minutes to inflate.

If you are a fan of ghostbusters this is definatly a must have. But for the price it is not made of nearly the quality materials as some of the blow ups I have bought at half the price. So it's really a mixed bag with this product.

He doesn't look near as shiny in person. He inflates in less than 3 minutes. Some people have reported the tie down rings are not sewn well onto the leg straps... you might want to add some additional stitches by hand on those. With the coupon, the cost was $30 less than at other halloween suppliers. Gotta love spirit halloween!

I have a few inflatables decorations, and this one is very slow to inflate. The fan is located in the back of the leg, and doesn't sit on the ground like other inflatables. That said, this is definitely Stay Puft Marshmallow Man! Once he's up, he looks great. One other thing, when I received the box it was damaged...the whole bottom of the box was almost torn off. Something Spirit should be more careful of I think.
