This was a cute dress and my daughter loved that it lit up BUT the first dress we got didnt work and had to order again, the size runs rather small and is very itchy around the neck, overall didnt work for us, if you order make sure to give yourself extra time to make sure the lights work and also order really big so it fits nicely, otherwise it was cute but quality was kind of thin

i bought this for my 2year old daughter as Halloween costume. when we recived it i tried it on her to make sure i ordered the correct size, to my surprise it was well made fit perfect & looked adorable !! she loves the lights, & asks to were it everyday!! it would be a great buy for any little princess & can be used over & over to play dress up!!

was a gift for a 3 almost 4 yr old got a child small based on reviews. child small fit her great and she is the proper size for her age. i suggest buying a size bigger for a good fit.

With this costume you get what ya pay for. It is cheap so it is made cheaply. The fiber optic lights are falling off it, and my daughter hasn't even worn it yet(Halloween is still 2 weeks away). Plus I thought that the lights would be designed differently, you have to keep pushing the button to turn them back on(only blink for about 15 seconds). With some extra layers it will be perfect for one night (halloween). Designed Obsolescence!!!

I ordered this for my 2 year old for Halloween, she wanted to be a Princess. I thought the twinkle lights would make it better than just a plain pink Princess dress. First, when it arrived it was quickly apparent that it was too small. The picture online shows it to be floor length and 3/4 sleeves but I was lucky if it came down to her knees and elbows. Keep in mind she is 2.5 yrs old and I bought the 2-4 yr size thinking that would be the correct fit. The 2-4 size would honestly fit an 18 mos infant. They most definitely put a larger kids size on the girl in the picture, very deceiving! Secondly, the lights wouldn't work so I opened the battery case and a battery had burst and corroded the mechanism. After some wiggling and cleaning of the batteries I got the lights to work intermittently; however, the lights (LED strands) were only in the very front panel of the dress, like a waterfall, not all over the skirting and they were RED (not white like the pictures)! It looked kind of creepy, like blood! So, needless to say I returned it to the local Spirit Halloween store but they do not refund shipping (even on defective items) so I was out the $5 for S&H... Lesson learned, buy in store so you know what you're getting.

I received this today for my daughter and we were both disappointed. She wears a size 5 and the small is supposed to be a 5-6 and she could barely squeeze into it and it only came down to her knees. I will be returning this but now have to find something different because the larger size is sold out. It is very cute and we would've loved to have worn it but unfortunately she will not be able to.

I am glad I didn't pay the full original cost, I would have been even more upset. However, paying only what I did can be justified as a play dress-up article of costume instead of the trick-or-treating that we had originally planned. The costume sleeve ripped the minute we put it on our two year old and the picture showed a full length dress on a model. The actual dress was barely below our daughter's knees and I ordered a size up (3T). I will shop somewhere else for her Halloween costume given there is still plenty of time.

I ordered this dress for my 5 year old daughter to go trick or treating in. I thought that the lights would help make her more visable and thats always good. I ordered the child's small which was a 4-6, however when we recieved the dress, it was really small. It ended up fitting my 2 year old perfectly. Also the lights were not that bright even in total darkness, and they were crunched in the front and not spread out like in the picture. The dress is really cheap so we kept that in mind, but the fabric is really scratchy and itchy. We returned it because of the sizing issue, but she picked a new costume based purely on comfort because of how uncomfortable this dress was.

My daughter hated it because the material was "itchy!" I didn't like it because it never lit up and we didn't have enough time to send it back and it was a smaller fit than expected.

This dress is great for making my daughter feel like the princess she is! She totally loves it! We did have to get a new one because the first one didn't work but the customer service was fast and amazing! By far the best experience I have had with customer service. No questions asked they sent me a new dress out the same day!! So pleased with Spirit!

The batteries that were in the costume were corroded and after replacing them the fiber optic lights still do not function. I think a replacement should be sent.

Runs extremely small. I bought the "toddler" size for my three year old who is just now getting into a 3T and it will not fit her. It is not floor length as the picture suggests. I will be returning this item.
