I bought this costume thinking the headpiece was a hard plastic, turns out it is flimsy and it was bent and got in the way and wouldn't stay on, so I improvised and made my own medusa wig and didn't even use it, but it did give me idea's for my own, that was the only good thing about it, the dress was too big for me and I'm a size 7. So again I improvised and wrapped gold fabric around it to tighten it up.

I received tons of compliments on this costume when I went to a party. It's original, cute and fun. The headpiece is truly painful rubbing against your forehead, but I decided to wear a wig. That way, the headpiece rested on the wig and not my forehead. The dress could be of better quality, but it will suffice. The armband was useless and didn't stay on at all. All and all it was a good costume.

the head piece presses hard against my forehead (might not on yours), snake armband is a joke (ending up wearing it as a necklace) LoL kinda of confusing to "wrap it up" correctly around the body. The whole idea of the costume is classic. Did I mention I was REALLY disappointed that it WASN'T green like it looks in the pic? That would have made costume 4 stars with me!!! Enjoy

The headdress was the best part of it, but would have been better if it had a headband with snakes to go around the head. It had a painful spot in the front, so I added two-sided foam tape and a piece of velvet fabric to make it less painful, but even so it left a red dent in my forehead after a while. Also, Velcro to make the two pieces stick together wasn't the best design. The snake bracelet was unraveling on the end, and wouldn't stay on my arm... useless as a bracelet, though it makes a mediocre cat toy. And the "velvet dress" was a lot less glamorous than my normal cheap dresses. I wish I could have spent half as much for just the headdress, and spent the difference on a real dress I could wear many times. So no big thrill, but there was no really great Medusa costume that I could find anywhere. So it was the best I was able to do, and I was somewhat happy with it. I'm rating it 4 stars, but really it's a 3 1/2. I'd recommend it, but not with great enthusiasm.

Like the costume. The only recommendation would be to find a better snake arm band. It won't stay on. Maybe try something with elastic.

Love this costume. The fabric of the dress is great. I was scared to buy a one size fits all but the criss cross straps make it work for size 6 to 18. :) also, the headpiece is great and very pretty on. I can't wait to wear it to my costume party.

There are two areas which need VAST IMPROVEMENT - the cheap plastic "snake" headdress. I'd gladly pay for something better with real rubber snakes. Also - I'd much prefer an actual snake bracelet for the arm. I can't get this cheap one supplied to stay on. I'd also like to see actual INSTRUCTIONS and better pictures for putting it all together - true for ALL costumes.
