My son wanted to be something a little scary. I like classic films, so we decided to go with this. He loves it! It's a bit hard to see out of but he can still get around just find. Eating is cetaintly a struggle with this on so if you're looking for something you can manuever around easily in I would recommend something else. But I truly do love it.

This was a great costume but the head piece runs very small I had to connect the shirt to the head piece because my son couldnt see out of the eye part because his head couldnt fit in the headpiece but because the shirt is seethrew it worked out well with some minor adjustments I attached the head piece to the shirt and he could see fine threw the neck of the shirt.

I had this costume sent to my kindergarten age grandson in Denver. He LOVES it so much he wants to wear it every day. He has shown it off to all his friends, even before Halloween! I thought he or his 3 year old brother might find it too scary with "no head", but it has really caught their imagination, in a good way. My grandson is tall so I ordered the medium (8-10) and it fits him perfectly. Like others have said, size up on this costume unless your child is smaller for his age. Young kids love it!

OK. My son wanted a Headless Horseman costume since last year. Found this on the Spirit store website. None else around anywhere. You could only buy it online which was a pain since you can't really get a feel for how it will work from a picture. I had read the reviews on this site and there were a lot of folks that complained about the sizing and the fact that the mask didn't fit which gave me a lot of concern but given I couldnt find a HH costume anywhere else I decided to order. Because of the sizing issue everyone else commented about, I ordered the size 14 for my 8 year old which i would have never done without everyone's comments. Well, it fits perfectly! He LOVES the costume and it looks great. You really do need to get the bigger size since the mask is snug... Other comments - doesnt come with pants so you will need to add black pants. It will be a little difficult to see at night since the frill comes down in front of the eyes. Is ok for daytime. I might have to do something for Halloween night.

I first thought that my son would need a size small since the sizing for medium is 8-10 (he's 7 and pretty thin). But since I could not find size small, I figured I would take a chance with the medium. It fits perfect! I think had I ordered the small it would have been too tight. Its a great costume! My son loves it and can't wait to wear it for Halloween!!

i thought this was really great i was the one who wore it. It was awesome my mom and grandma helped me put it on and it was pretty easy but if u get hot when putting it on it can get a little hard i won second place in the costume contest.

My nine year old son chose this costume, and it has been great. He is small for his age and the medium fits just right. We received lots of positive comments. This costume gets noticed! Original, fun, and comfortable considering the hat and inflatable shoulders.

I bought the large child (10-12 year) costume for my 8 year old and it fits him snuggly. Make sure you buy at least one size larger than what you think you will need. Otherwise, a very nice costume!
