Comments: I gave this 5 stars not because the fabric quality is excellent but because I was very satisfied with the qualities I was looking for - low price, attractive, and adaptable. I wanted to dress as Priscilla from the book of Acts in the Bible, so I started by looking for Virgin Mary costumes. Priscilla is a Jewish woman from Rome during the Roman Empire, and she co-ran a family business, so it is possible that she would have dressed in typical Greco-Roman garb. All of the Virgin Mary costumes I found online were unflattering (not at all form-fitting, more like a sack). So I also looked at Greco-Roman costumes on many costume websites. This one is a great price compared to most of the others that I saw. I was looking for a costume that would be shapely yet not require my abs to be fit. I was very satisfied with this - the baby-doll style and billowing texture covers a flabby tummy while the close shaping around the chest and the ties that you can wrap around the waist give a bit of an hourglass shape. (If you do not want to use the golden ties, you could tuck them up under the arm and leave them primarily inside the dress.) The neckline is very low cut and would show all of your cleavage, but this can be remedied by tucking one of the strips of fabric attached to the shoulder into the dress under the arm; you can then stretch it loosely across your chest, tuck the bottom edge of it under your bra to hold it in place, and then pull it out under the other arm. I draped some of the other strips which are attached at the shoulder around my shoulders, and draped one of them over my head as the expected head covering for a Jewish woman in the Greco-Roman world. It was very successful. Many people at my party said I looked beautiful or like a princess. One woman said I was dressed well to be Perpetua, a 2nd century Christian martyr. I did not use the included headpiece. The fabric is very thin so you must wear a long slip. The color is not as pictured in the photo. Rather… |

Comments: I am 5'4" snd had to cut off several inches. It runs long. I could fit into the medium but found it had little fabric and coverage in the bust area. Had to get a large to get adequate coverage. Got a curly clip on pony tail and it makes for a nice costume. I am debating if I can wear to work because it might be too revealing. |

Comments: Great costume, very comfortable, but not made for big busted women needed a little more fabric in the bust area. |

Comments: This costume is classic and safe, it is also a good fit for all body types but it was too simple for me and I didn't like the arms of the dress or the headpiece. |

Comments: Wore this last year, and I had to get a small because other sizes were sold out. I am 5'8-9" and not small. The fit of the dress is accommodating and allows forgiving room. Be aware, the skirt is somewhat see through, but flows and comfortable. Hope you enjoy! |

Comments: After trying on this costume and debating whether to make my own, I realized that for the fabric and notions (gold braiding/hoops on the shoulders) I would be paying a lot more than the $34.99 (CDN) this one cost. I will need to wear nude underwear and bra (or a slip) since the fabric is sheer. The headband is nice and the costume is super comortable. I'm glad it's long enough for me (I'm 5'11") when wearing flats/very low heeled gladiator sandals. It's more appropriate than the scandalous mini-dress varieties out there if you're looking for something a bit more conservative and less party-ish. |

Comments: I bought this costume for my best friend two years ago and we made a deal that she would wear it for the next four halloweens. It looks great and fits her. She's very short but full figured which makes it hard to find a good fit, but it looks amazing on her. I would buy it again. Unlike other costumes that tend to only be good for one halloween, this one looks exactly the same as when we first bought it. It washed great. |

Comments: This is a lovely costume! I'm large and curvy and it is still very flattering. One important note is that when I tried it on I realized I would need to wear a slip underneath--it is very see-through! Otherwise, fits great and looks good. Also, I did find it at my local store, so I'm not sure why it says online only. |

Comments: I was trying to look for a reference shot for myself to make a Greek look by hand and I found out about this. Unfortunately, I can't get the outfit myself... T_T I really want this, but I don't have enough cash for it and it's only available online, which I think is COMPLETELY unfair. But, other then those complaints, I'd really love to get the costume even though I like to make costumes myself without a sowing machine(since they don't like me). |

Comments: I was worried it wouldn't fit, because of my body type, but it was a perfect fit all around. A tiny bit long, but I'm on the short side, so a pair of heels work well. Would definitely point my friends this direction. |
