I was so hesitant about ordering this online because I've had bad luck with quality and sizing in the past. This costume is awesome though! My almost 9 month old was comfortable in it (and it's super warm!) The headpiece bothered her for only a few seconds but she soon forgot about it. I would recommend this specific costume, and the ones from this line, over and over again. I bet I won't see many cute elephants on Halloween so the fact that this is pretty original is what sold me. Oh, and as for sizing, I find comparing is usually the easiest. My 9 month old is 25 1/2 in. and is 16 1/2 lbs and has still quite a bit of room to grow. I hope that helps! :o)
