Best Uses Comments: PLEASE do yourself a favor and buy the 6 volt power cord from Spirit!!!! Didnt know it didnt come with one so instead of putting 10 AA's in it I ran to my local electronis store to find that they run over $40!!!!! Also it has to be mounted to a board its way to wobbly even with weight. It is pretty scary though good deal if I would of known about the cord....ughhhhh!! |

Pros
Cons
Best Uses Comments: This is a great addition to your decoration if you want to give an element of suprise and make people scream. It really pops up and is really creep when it lies back down. I cant wait for halloween!!! My only complaint is the base is not well made. I put it together once to try it out and when I went to take it apart, you can already tell the plastic that locks the legs together is stressed and will snap. I put it together again when i got home to show the family and am afraid to take it apart. probably fixable with a heavy duty tape but wish I didnt have to do that. But as long as it keeps working I am happy! |

Comments: We use this in our spook house. We place it in a coffin. We have a tube feeding fog into the coffin so you can't see what's in there. We have it activated by the foot pad, so when some one walks up, it pops up. Very startling to people. |

Comments: First time I activated the remote switch our cat jumped off her perch and ran out of the house. I can only hope that we see the same reaction with 'trick or treaters'! |

Comments: Had Grim close to the front door to catch trick or treaters at the last minute. only draw back is it needs to have light close by or you can't see it. And don't forget to weight it down. |

Comments: This is a great startle prop. I had him in my garveyard and trick or treaters had to pass by him as they came up to the house and left. My 10 year old grand daughter was in charge of the remote to trigger him. We practiced so she could get the timming just right. From inside the house from the front window, the prop still triggered. That's a good 20' while INDOORS. The remote is great. She got everyone who passed and they were indeed startled! I screwed the prop base down with only two screws to thin 2'x2' plywood and once you do that the prop is steady as a rock. I wouldn't rely on anything other than screwing it down because the prop rises quickly with pretty good force. It worked MANY times all night with no trouble at all. If you want it taller, you could mount it on a raised platform. But it's not that short and for kids it was perfect and it did a fine job scaring the heck out of adults too. There is a small version of this prop too, but this bigger one is just the right size to scare 'em all! If you're looking for a great startle prop, this one is it and for a great price too. |
