Pros
Cons Best Uses Comments: I knew this was a 'have to have it' prop as soon as I saw the video! I bought it the day the store opened--glad I did, as they sold out in days! This is the PERFECT prop for my 'spider's lair'. It is a great size (I can't imagine what 'HalloweenGal' was looking at, but this is NOT 'tiny'), the body alone is more than a foot long. This, coupled with the spider's victim, another large, hairy spider and lots of web, will make a great display! I just hope that Spirit will be getting more in, as the demand is there! |

Pros Cons Best Uses Comments: Someone below gave it one star because it was too small?? This thing is as big as my Shih Tzu! He HAD to be talking about another prop. Can't wait for our Halloween party. Hopefully a few will survive their spider welcome for the rest of the fun! |

Comments: Let me start my saying that I LOVE this spider. It has the best startle factor of any of my vast halloween collection. Unlike other props that slowly rise out of a barrel or raise its arms, this thing LAUNCHES up and forward without warning. It eyes glow & it emmits screetching noises. It then lowers itself bact into position ready to pounce on your next victim. My only criticism is the legs are not firmly secured within the spider. You pose them into a lifelike position, trigger the sensor, the legs flail forward which gives the spider the illusion that it is reaching for its victim. Awesome. But when it hovers then resets itself the legs are in a dischievled, unrealistic clump in front of the spider. I was able to partially disassemble the spider and secure its legs in a manner that makes them hold a pose but I do not recommend doing this unless you fancy yourself particulary handy with solving engineering shortcomings. The metal wire within the legs was entertwined with the wiring with the eyes and motion sensor. I feel that this was potentially a design flaw. That being said, my spider is posed nicely and works wonderfully. I hope to get some video's of my victims up soon. If you have the opportunity to purchase this spider (I call mine Shelob), BUY IT! You won't be dissapointed. |

Pros
Cons Best Uses Comments: This is a very cool new prop and one to get this year for sure. The spider jumps so fast you can't even see it. This prop startles you even when you know it's getting ready to fire. The prop also seems to be made pretty good also and I checked this out extensively. I hate buying new props and seeing garbage construction. This is a good prop for the money, sure to scare. |

Pros Cons Best Uses Comments: Since they were out of stock everywhere I asked if they'd sell me the floor model. Not only did they sell it to me they gave me the step mat and told me that the floor units are made with metal parts instead of the usual plastic so they last a lot longer. Win all the way around, excellent staff! |

Comments: never fails, I know it's coming but it makes me jump anyway. I watched as kids pulled their parents over to step on the pad in the store, everyone jumped, it is so popular here and fits perfectly in my spider theme. Would definately recommend it to anyone looking for a good scarey propt. It looks real with the web that hides the black cover of the workings..great idea! |

Comments: I decorate my entire house for Halloween and I can't wait to set the spider up. The unexpected jumping of the Spider guarantees laughs and screams, not to mention the natural aversion people have to spiders in the first place. |

Pros Cons Best Uses Comments: Wish it was just a little bigger for the scare factor, but it still does the trick. Scared everyone in the house even though they knew what was coming. Excellent addition to Eerie Acres haunted house. |

Comments: We use a foot pad, it takes a few seconds to jump, foot pad makes it perfect timing. Without the foot pad people would set it off and walk by without realizing it was more then just a noise maker. |
