This phone is a great prank to put in a coworkers office! the only draw back is that you cannot reduce or adjust the volume but other than that I love it.

Great selection of phrases from the movie, and it's nice that it plays out loud, so everyone in the area can hear it, not just the person who answers the phone. Only "con" is that the cord is too short, when you pick up the receiver it pulls the phone up with it, so I'm going to have to lengthen the cord, that's the only reason I give it a 4 instead of a 5. I'm going to have this on a telephone stand by the bathroom, so it will ring every time someone walks by, with a Jiffy Pop next to it, and the scream ghost outside the window looking in. I recommend setting your own scene like that, as opposed to getting the phone that's connected to the scream ghost that makes it move when you answer the phone - that one looks hokey, because its head moves side to side and eyes light up - the character's eyes didn't light in the movie, it looks more authentic to just have him outside holding the knife up. But overall, so far my BEST new thing this year.

Although it's a fun prop, it was not quite what I expected. Not sure if this one is defective, but it's supposed to ring and it doesn't. Overall, I like it, but will need to check on the ringing issue. Also, I thought it was overpriced by about $5. If it rings, I would give it 4 stars.

I love this product because it is unique and funny but scary too, but just a few things I would change would be how short the cord is, every time someone picks up the phone the base falls off the table and it would be really great if the voice could come through the ear part of the phone and the bottom so that everyone can hear it including the person that picks up the phone, sometimes the bottom speaker gets covered up and is hard to hear. Besides that it's great!

This telephone takes batteries, and is motion activated, it's very detailed like in the movie, and also it's motion activated, so it will ring, and when you lift the phone up, it will say phrases, like from the film, and also it's amazing, and great for a haunted house, Halloween party, or a home haunt, and it will make guests, and visitors, surprised when they see it, and it's really creepy, and also scary, when it rings if, you want to scare people, with this, then pick it up.
