Comments: This is a great new prop for the price. The arm movement is a bit to fast so make sure you anchor the base well. Take care when attaching and removing the head, as there are lots of wires that can get caught and pulled out of connectors. A multi function switch would be cool so you can operate it continuously, sound or no sound, or off the motion trigger. |

Comments: The gatekeeper leaned to his left believe. The weld broke on the stand before we even got him put together. I took it to my shop and had the weld fixed. He still leaned. |

Comments: The lantern light worked initially, but poor construction so it no longer works, even with new batteries. Same issues with voice. Does't talk consistently. Not worth the $$$ - and I recieved $30 off - still not worth the price. |

Pros Cons
Best Uses Comments: Was so excited to get home and put this together and it all fell apart, literally. The welded peices were broken so he could not hold his arm. I returned it to the store and the employee told me that the one they had on display had collapsed on it's own. I hate it was such poor craftsmanship, he looked cool. |

Comments: Overall, we're very happy with the Gatekeeper prop. However, the parts bag that contains 7 screws and a cotter pin was missing. The missing cotter pin appears to be spare because the unit already has two in place and the instructions don't mention it beyond the parts list. The screws are for keeping the metal frame together, so we really need those! We called Spirit Halloween's customer service to obtain the parts and they said they would call back with the resolution and we're still waiting? Alternate plan is to use duct tape or can guess at the screw size, but for the price paid we shouldn't have to. |

Comments: Great piece. Looks great and very easy setup. Not exactly how sensitive the light sensor is. Will use it when it is very dark to see how little light is needed to set it off. Love it. |

Comments: Ok folks, here it is. . first you'll have to secure the base.Forget the screws, drill it out and use nuts & bolts making it striaght(without the added weight). Then counterbalance the added weight with a small dumbbell to touch the floor.Add round weights to both sides of base if needed.A red spot light is needed(the light sensor is weak).Fluff or enhance the costume, and enjoy.Good idea, poor design, needs TLC. |

Comments: I put the Gatekeeper in a corner and he already scared me a few times! I think this is my favorite prop because I like what he says, I love the fact that he swings the lantern. I even feel like my friends got scared of it |
