I had intended to buy a few of these as a gift for my husband, but upon opening them and trying one out, they were so easy to install, and my kids got such a kick out of them that we had all four of our jack-o-lanterns carved and suspended in no time! Such a simple device...it's amazing these haven't been around for years! And they're great for showing off all sorts of pumpkin art work!

Nothing turns heads like having lit jack-o-lanterns floating around the patio! People ALWAYS ask me where I got these. They last forever, they're easy to use, and there are a lot of ways to use them. I bought one and immediately got 4 more when I hung my first one. I use them for Halloween, football games, Thanksgiving...all fall long. I'm hooked!

It really looks like they float in mid-air, since they are invisible. Very creepy and a good value. It is made of aircraft cable!The best way to hang them is to think of where you will want to hang them ahead of time, then put simple wood screws there (leave the screw head slightly out). There is a picture of this on the blog photo album. Put in many screws in various locations, so you have lots of choices while decorating. The metal loop slips right over the screw head. This way you can easily move your hanging pumpkins when you move.If you want to hang them in trees, from branches or over thick items, just get a simple piece of nylon rope and tie it around the beam, branch, etc. Then use the supplied zip-tie to connect the loop of the hanger to the rope. Again, there's a picture of this on the blog photo album.Make sure you try chaining them together. Just buy 2 kits and you have everything you need. There are pictures and videos of this on the blog. I suggest you buy one for every pumpkin you plan to carve. You can still set them down if you don't want them to hang, leaving the kit installed.I like to hang them outside facing into the windows. It looks like they're staring into the window. At bedtime, I move them to face into our bedroom windows. It is a great Halloween night light. My kids love this! It is very easy to do if you simply place a few wood screws under your eves near your windows. Very cool.This really impresses trick-or-treaters.
