Pros Cons Best Uses Comments: This is definately a great prop but after only 1 year the gears gave up and it will not return to the upright position. Will never buy this one again! |

Comments: I use many scary props for Hallowe'en that guide trick-or-treaters towards their treats. This one is so scary I must "hide" it from the very young children by placing it out of their paths. We have busloads of families who visit my "spook house", so we want it to be fun, not fateful fright. |

Comments: Mine did not work after it was put together and the local Spirit store said the motor was put together wrong where it was made and gave me a new one that works fine. Weighted nicely so it maintains it's position. Will work fine in our haunted garage we do halloween night. |

Comments: I loved this vampire when we first got it. The lurching movement is very effective and scary. But I had to move him a foot from my door and he stopped working 20 minutes into Hallloween night. Upon further discovery one of the gears had broken inside him when I moved him. I should have been warned when the one at the store was broken in the same way, but I bought him (a new vampire) anyway. He looks great, just be very gentle with him. If anyone has any ideas where to get gears for him, I would love to know it. |

Comments: Very happy with my Lurching Vampire. Works great with a footpad or "Try Me" button for well-timed scares. The motion is very sudden and realistic, but not so dramatic that it might hit anyone -- fun AND safe. My only suggestion is that you weigh down its base a bit before operating, or you might notice him scooting forward as he's used repeatedly. |

Best Uses Comments: Great looking vampire, but not built sturdy enough to hold when the vampire lunges forward. Item lasted one year and the platform broke due to the lunging effect. |

Pros Cons Best Uses Comments: Last year the Countess was lonely. Lurch has not only helped her speak up more often, he's caused more than one TOT to run screaming from the haunt. We set him up with a foot pad so that as the TOTs leave the front door with a slightly heavier candy bag, they trigger Lurch to come straight for them, bumping into the Countess's arm and setting her off too. They are a truely surprising couple. |
