Comments:

We purchased this decoration at our local spirit halloween store in Boise Idaho and we are very excited to use it and we think it will perform nicely. This product is very quick and it feels pretty sturdy. Advice to you is to find a weighted foot plate an screw the footings into it so the zombie doesen't jump around when you pop it up. We haven't used this product in action yet but we are expecting it to a hit with our halloween display. More details on the 1st of November to say how it was.

Comments:

Today I opened the box and put him together for a trial run. I have to say, I was not a happy camper. I'd read that he needed to be anchored, so I had already planned to weight him down in a casket. No surprises there. But he is not well made at all. I can see I will need to pad his insides and arms a bit because they are only fabric. Zombies are not ghosts--they are supposed to have SOME substance, albeit rotting. He did sit up quickly, so there is a good startle factor there. However, a cough or moderately loud noise is not enough to activate him, so I may have to use a remote or something. The voice is gravelly, slurred, and impossible to understand. The box advertises he says different things, but you couldn't prove that by me. When I tried to disassemble him to store him away, the little key piece that's supposed to open the latches for the legs didn't work on one of them, and the latch broke. Also, I cannot disassemble the poles that hold him upright. So he's "standing" in the box in my bedroom right now until I can find a larger box than the one he came in. (Yes, I know that was poor grammar.)

Comments:

Should NOT be exposed to water. If using outdoors, it's suggested to place in a covered area. We didn't know before purchasing online, but it doesn't matter much since it looks, sounds, and works great. We'll figure out how to display it outdoors without exposing the electronic parts to the weather. The size is very close to lifesize for a torso. The base is lightweight and moves around when the zombie is motion activated. You'll probably want to make a minor enhancement by attaching a board or something to act like a base with some weight on it. We liked it and will be using it this halloween. It's pretty creepy looking.

My Grandaughter ran screaming in terror

4.0

Pros

  • Scary
  • Fun To Use
  • Easy to assemble

Cons

  • Outfit is poorly made

Best Uses

  • Parties
  • Halloween
  • Getting rid of solicitors

Comments:

I like the way this prop works. You will need to weigh down the base to prevent it moving around. I had it assembled in about 3 minutes (or less). I am going to spruce up his ensemble a little as his outfit is made of that cheap nylon which hangs poorly on him. I also don't like the way his hair strands are placed, so I may add a little more, and a hat. Overall, I think he is a good prop and will be a fun addition to my home haunt. I cannot yet rate how well this prop holds up as I have not used it extensively. I did buy a mat switch for activation to go with prop also.

Great

4.0

Pros

  • Inexpensive
  • Lots of Fun

Cons

  • A little cheap

Best Uses

  • Haunted Garage

Comments:

This works well and very inexpensive. The one problem I had with it was that the supporting on the sides of the base broke in 5 minutes. So, I recommend you glue the base of the prop to a sheet of wood like I did.

Creeped my Dog Out!!!

4.0

Pros

  • Perfect for a haunting

Cons

  • Bounces a little too much

Best Uses

  • Costume Party

Comments:

This prop is really fun looking, easy to put together and it creeped out my dog. He kept barking at it, which of course, made it turn back on and "rise" again. I finally had to turn it off because he wouldn't stop barking! Can't wait to use it in my haunted garage. The only downside is that it bounces a little. I think I'll have to use some duct tape to help hold him in place.
