I fell in love with this guy the moment I stepped into my local Spirit store! He's so loud, his eyes light up, and what really pulled me in was the fact that his mouth moves! (silly I know). I'm so sick of seeing these kind of props not move their mouths when they laugh/talk. He towers and has a loud voice, as if demanding respect. Everyone else who's mentioned the picture above is right, it does the real thing no justice. This is a must have prop for any spooky haunted house or party.While I had only one issue with the stand (one piece won't lock)that can be easily over looked. Amazing, A+ prop, well worth the[$] Oh, and keep it away from cats... mine has pulled for Grim down twice.

Great prop! The height, quality, and overall design on this is perfect! The souls on the inside could have had more attention on them, but its only a minor flaw. GREAT prop, will surely scare Trick or Treaters!!!

This grim reaper is the best for kids to scare. On Halloween it was the scary one at my house I coud not beleve it so it is very very very cool and scary I cant wait intul Halloween so I can scare kids. Parents also think it is cool and scary, so go buy one!!!

The reaper of souls is really cool. He opens his robes to reveal a Fredy Krueger esk group of trapped souls. He's worth the price. The picture on this page isn't great but trust me he's really cool when you get him.

This is one awesome Halloween prop! The Grim Reaper is about 6'3" tall, stands on a sturdy iron base, and comes with a long power cord. He activates upon loud talking, a clap of the hands, or playing music nearby. In my opinion, he looks better in person than in Spirit's video. And for those who were wondering if there are actual faces inside his chest - there are! This prop will look great next to my Witch with Fogging Cauldron prop when I use it outdoors for our trick-or-treaters during the Halloween season. Spirit's 20% coupon always comes in handy. ;) Maybe since I bought him, when my time comes, he won't add me to the rest of his lost souls - ha ha...

OK, all i've got to say about this guy, is that he's AWESOME!!! It's easy to set up, and works fine. This is the best spirit product of 2009!

About 5 years ago, Spirit came out with a zombie prop that ripped open its chest. There were two versions of this prop - mine (the better one, IMO) - had a heart that lit up and beat as the zombie threw back his head and screamed. This prop is the update on that idea - and now it's over 6' tall! Instead of just screaming, it speaks (mouth moves!) and opens its chest (with faces there!). Will be great to see in a darkened room. Good job Spirit! Sadly, that first prop broke after about 5 years, so I'm hoping this one lasts longer.
