I wear a 10/12 so I bought the large, and it fits great. The dress is actually a halter which you can't tell from the picture. The only real con is that the rope belt was kind of short. Enough to tie it, but felt short. The hat was also a little difficult to fold up properly. Overall its a cute costume for cheap, definitely worth the price.

You need to wear short, shorts under this. But other than that it's perfect! But, just go ahead and through away the sailor hat.

I liked this costume quite a bit but the only issue I found with it was the fit. I know it's a pretty cheap costume but I didn't like how the rope and waist of the costume was so low. I'm 5'4 and about 115lbs and the small size was kind of big. It was easy to fix though, I just ended up having to safety pin it around the sides.

I got a small. I am 5'6" and 115lbs. It fit perfectly and is definitely short. I'm wearing black shorts underneath it. The only disappointing thing was that the hat was NOT a sailor hat at all. It came with just a white...rounded hat? Definitely a big let down. Other than that it was cute.

At first I didn't like the costume judging by the amount of cleavage it was showing. But when I tried it on it looked great! Not that much cleavage showing, altough I am going to wear a tank top underneath it. This costume is cute, comfortable, and it fits well. But the skirt is kind of short. BUT OH WELL. (:

Only thing I could complain about it that it moves up alot when walking. Wearing spanks underneath help keep it down in place. Most sailor hats don't stay on well but this one did :]

I thought it would be big but it fits just right except for the breast area-if you're not big breasted you need to safety pin it. all in all its GREAT FIT AND LOOKS SEXY.

I bought this to wear for Halloween next year. I was excited to try it on, I really liked how it fit, shows a nice amount of cleavage. It's pretty short though, I'm about 5'5 and ordered size M. I would probably wear white booty shorts underneath or black leggings. The only thing that surprised me was that it is a halter type top- I didn't realize that, but my bra doesn't hang out of it, so it's ok. The hat is a nice material, but I had to play with it to fold it right way, I'll probably pin it to my head. All in all- super cute costume!

just bought this the other day and I love it! Im short myself and its even too short on me. thats my only problem, you will need somthing to go under it but besides that i love it!

i went into our local store, and tried on about 3 different sailor costumes, one was either too big, or too small, didnt fit my chest right, or my [*] was showing.. this was the last one i tried on, and i must say, as soon as i put it on i felt sexy, and had a huge smile on my face. i showed my friend who was trying on costumes across from me, and immediatly she said i had to get it. it shows just enough clevage, its not too tight, and covers my butt. i brought it home and did a fashion show for my mom, and she absolutly loved it. the only problem i have, is that the hat is very awkard, and very large.. but i would reccomend this costume to anyone who wants to be a sailor!! and the price didnt hurt either!

I just bought this costume. It is good because it is one of the most least expensive. It is REALLY short though for a tall girl like me. You definitely need to buy something to go under it. I really like it and it's really cute!!!!...the only bad thing is that the hat is soooooo small. I'll probably have to find a way to pin it on my head.
